The NE Martin Luther King Jr Boulevard project will enhance pedestrian crossings and reduce gaps between crossings to improve safety, access transit, and access to destinations along MLK.

PBOT is actively working in partnership with the Soul District Business Association and key stakeholders on NE MLK Jr Blvd corridor to identify future priorities and seek funding for additional investments to improve safety and access along this corridor.

Many of the conversations that lead to my eventual decision to enter the race started right here at the bar of Wilder. Owner and operater Ben Preacher is a strong supporter of the campaign and a partner in guiding my thoughts on policy for Portland. District 2 Candidate Forum in St. Johns

District 2 Candidate Forum in St. Johns

The City Charter Reform voters approved in 2022 will soon take effect. It creates four separate city districts. North and Northeast Portland comprise District 2 where voters will elect three councilors as representatives. This will be a unique election in the city’s history to date. The North Peninsula Review is hosting a District 2 candidate forum on March 6, 2024 in order to offer residents an opportunity to get to know the candidates better.
